Egg roast

                                      Egg roast

                    Egg roast is a tasty dish and you can take  it with Appam chapathi or porotta


  • Egg:3
  • Onion:2 big
  • Green chilly:2
  • Garlic:3 cloves
  • Ginger:1/2”piece
  • Cinnamon/Patta:1”piece
  • Clove/grampoo:3
  • Fennel/Perum jeerakam:1/4 tspn
  • Chilly powder:1 tspoon
  • Garam masala:1 tspn(I used eastern garam masala)
  • Curry leaves
  • Salt
  • Oil


  • Boil the egg,deshell and keep aside
  • Heat oil in a pan and add crushed cinnamon,cloves ang fennel.Wait for 2 minutes. Then add chopped ginger and garlic.
  • Now add sliced onion ,curry leaves and  salt. Sauté  it well till the onion get translucent
  • Add green chilly, chilly powder and garam masala
  • Sauté it well and add 1/2 glass of water
  • Add deshelled eggs
  • Close the pan and cook it in low flame for 5 minutes
